Ceramica vs Disegno 1:0
Sandro Chia is one of the most famous Italian artists on the international scene.
His iconographic repertory has always drawn on the antique and the
modern, formal tradition and so-called marginal artistic periods, that
which claimed to be grandly noble and that which was relegated in sectors
defined “minor”, improbable stylistic crossings and marriages.
Chia uninterruptedly perused tribal art and the avant-gardes, Raphael and the
Bamboccianti, Van Gogh and abstraction, Matisse and mythology, creating his
own universe where the narrative gesture is immeasurably multiplied.
Here the protagonists are drawing and ceramic with their respective stories.
